One of those great, unusual looking African shrubs that thrive in our Mediterranean climate & yet are rarely seen in gardens. 4’ to 5’ tall, this easy & robust, slender, upright shrub is graced with soft, lime-green, thread like leaves, densely held on branches that move with the wind. The large flower heads consist of cream colored buttons & are very popular in South Africa in cut flower arrangements. “Buttonbush” likes sun, well drained soil & regular water.
