Solidago, also known as Goldenrod, is a genus of more than 100 species of flowering plants in the family Asteraceae. Goldenrods are usually herbaceous perennials native to North America.
These sun-loving plants have long and slender stems with spiky tooth-like parts, and tiny golden-yellow flowers that bloom in thick clusters. Solidago could be a good choice for the back of a garden bed.
